Welcome to Lesson 5 of the Intermediate Microsoft Outlook Tutorial. In this lesson we will cover Sending Meeting Requests. I hope you enjoy the lesson.
Sending Meeting Requests
Step 1: New Meeting Request
Select File, New, and then Meeting Request.
Step 2: Fill in Meeting Information
Fill in the information for the meeting subject, location, time, reminders, and message. This is the same as our previous lessons of creating an appointment.
Step 3: Scheduling
Select the scheduling tab. From here you can add attendees. The attendees that you add will appear in the attendees list. To the right is a calendar view. From here you can view the schedule of others that you want to attend your meeting. This can help in finding a time that everyone will be able to attend.
Step 4: AutoPick Next
The AutoPick Next button will find the next time when all of your attendees will be able to attend.
